For several decades CF Martin & Co have released Signature models created in collaboration with significant international artists; Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, Paul Simon ,Crosby Still & Nash.. the list goes on …..

One thing holds true for them all: they are all incredible musicians who during their career have moved hearts and minds using a Martin guitar. In 2006 Westside Distribution decided that it would like to pay tribute to heroes from ‘our side of the pond’ and thus the Martin UK Artist Edition was born.

Built by the Martin Custom Shop and developed by Westside Distribution in conjunction with UK artists these select instruments represent some of the finest guitars manufactured today. Only available in the UK, through appointed Martin Heritage centres and consequently in relatively small numbers, we consider these to be highly collectable instruments.

Two models have been released thus far; The D-35 Rory Gallagher (above) and the OM Davy Graham. Another very exciting new release is scheduled for early 2009. Watch this space for details ………..
