Neil Peart is a visionary in many ways but when he approached SABIAN’s artist relations dude, Chris Stankee with a concept of steampunk style cymbals to coincide with Rush’s upcoming tour, he may have asked for too much.

Taking his inspiration from H.G. Wells & Jules Verne, the concept fuses elaborate clockwork components with alchemy symbols to arrive at a style Neil describes as “steampunk”

You don't have to go to South America to experience the life saving, or let's say "show saving", quality of a Lehle Switcher as Ingo Powitzer, guitar tech for Matthias Jabs, did. A totally unexplained and equally unbearable interference noise in Matthias Jabs' guitar rig was instantly eliminated  by a Lehle Dual SGoS, enabling the show in Mexico City to continue without further problems.

Fuelled by his new found love for Lehle, Ingo then designed the pedal board for the Scorpions' two-year Farewell Tour to include a total of four Lehle products, which now manage Matthias Jabs' system with no hum and with all the switching  possibilities he needs for his performance.
