EditorGeneral News, Martin Guitar

November sees the UK arrival of three new “Time-Limited Edition” models from Martin.  The 000-15 Special, D-15 Special and DR Centennial.

Each model is embedded with traditional Martin features alongside visually distinctive additions and innovations.

D-15 SPECIAL –  £1450.00

The D-15 Special carries the Satin Finish and Mahogany back and sides of the 15-Series but is completed by a solid Sitka spruce top.

Additional features include black binding and purfling that beautifully accents the two-piece back. The solid Mahogany neck is then finished exquisitely with a black heel-cap.

Butterbean knobs on Nickel Open Gear Tuning Machines and Golden Era Style Diamond Fingerboard Inlays add a touch of class whilst the Faux Tortoise Pick-Guard adds style.

Supreme elegance and craftsmanship encapsulated into a Dreadnought guitar. The DR Centennial is the final piece in the celebration of Martin’s “100 Years Of The Dreadnought”.

This D-14 Fret sized Acoustic has a satin-finish on the body and neck that is smoother than a bar of Galaxy chocolate. The top is Adirondak spruce that has the Vintage Tone System or “VTS” and is finished with “Antique White” binding.

Mother of Pearl fingerboard inlays in 1955 Style 18, East Indian Rosewood back, sides and fingerboard finishes off this simple, elegant and desirable Acoustic.
