Tonight at the world famous Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom 2000 lucky people will be getting up close and sweaty with the original ‘modfather’- Paul Weller.
As a recording artist he’s spanned generations, debuting aged 17 in new wave heroes The Jam, through the smooth 80s soul of the Style Council to becoming an established solo recording star- his massive hit album Stanley Road was ubiquitous through the 90s.
We caught up with him to deliver another batch of Dunlop Custom Picks, and while we were there grabbed this quick photo. There’s something quite special about seeing the Barrowlands standing empty in anticipation of the performance that will enthralling the crowd later that evening, a venue that will no doubt bring out the best in a legend like Weller.
