Ayrshire rock gods (it’s not often you type that sentence) Biffy Clyro made a welcome return last night, premiering their new track ‘Stingin’ Belle’ in Zane Lowe’s show on radio 1.
The first from their forthcoming double album Opposites, ‘Belle flies by in 3 minutes of odd time signatures, hands in the air choruses and, eh, bagpipes.
Yes, you heard.
As a taster for the new album it sounds like they are bridging the gap between their stadium filling recent albums and the more obscure, fan favourite earlier material.
